practices.
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Write an enquiry program in Cobol.
- Update an existing program by adding further files, fields and screen
displays.
- Write a report program in Cobol.
- Write a simple load-all subfile program in Cobol.
- Write a file maintenance program in Cobol.
- Debug Cobol programs.
Applications development staff who will be using Cobol
to develop or maintain applications written with Cobol on the iSeries.
iSeries SYSTEM FACILITIES should be attended prior to
this course. Delegates without prior programming experience in a high level
database programming language should also attend the iSeries PROGRAM DESIGN
course. The many practical exercises on this COBOL/400 course require the
delegate to code using PDM, SEU, SDA and DDS, all of which are taught on the
iSeries System Facilities course.
