This course is designed for business continuity planners
complete tour of iSeries availability and recovery options and how to employ
them for your own backup and recovery plan.
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the Availability and Recovery options of the IBM System i - (AS/400).
- State which of these options are most suitable to your own situation.
- Plan and implement a suitable Availability and Recovery strategy.
This course is suitable for senior operators, system
administrators and data processing managers who have responsibility for
recovery and availability, and for staff involved in disaster recovery
planning.
Delegates need some experience of iSeries Operations. This
can be gained from either the iSeries OPERATIONS course
with further experience, or the iSeries SYSTEM FACILITIES
course.
