This course is intended for end users and support staff who
need to learn the advanced features of the Query licensed program. The course
includes joining files in different ways, output the results of a query to a
database file in different ways, create new fields for numeric calculations,
date and time conversions, substringing, concatenation etc. and transferring
files generated by query to your PC.
Staff who already have a familiarity with the basics of
Query/400, who will be using Query/400 extensively, and need to learn how to
produce complex reports, files for reports and/or download query files to a
PC.
Delegates must have attended the iSeries
Basic Query course or have equivalent knowledge.
For courses run in house, the exercises can be
customised to use your own database and applications. A charge will be made for
this service.
