This course in intended for end users and support staff who
need to create, modify and run query reports. The course covers the basics of
creating new query definitions and modifying existing queries. It takes users
step by step through the options to create and run a query in easy to understand
terms. The course is very much "hands on" and delegates have plenty
of opportunity to get to grips with the fundamentals of writing queries.
This course is for end users and support staff of Query to
help them harness the power of Query to develop queries for reporting and enquiries.
There are no prerequisites for this practical course.
Basic keyboard skills and a knowledge of the applications to be queried will be
helpful to enable users to complete the many hands on exercises.
For courses run in house, the exercises can be
customised to use your own database and applications. A nominal charge will be
made for this service.

The course is based around the practical use of query to demonstrate all of
the major features of query for users.
Follow on course : we reccomend that after a suitable period
of time of attending this course ( e.g. 3 to 6 months hands on experience )
then delegates may want to enhance the knowledge thay have gained by attending
the Advanced Query course (ISQRA)
